What you will do
To develop our back office (cloud) and front office (POS app) we are looking for a driven front-end developer with lead qualities. Our in-house developed business platform is turning the market upside down. It is the combination of high-quality technology with optimal usability, including links to other ERP systems. Perfect for the entrepreneur on the corner and that large international franchise chain. Curious? Rightly so!
Together with the team of architects, developers, requirements engineers and testers, you will build the next generation of software. Thanks to you, our in-house developed software solutions are super fast and user-friendly. You have been in the development world for a few years and enjoy a challenge. You continue to develop yourself - we give you the space to do so - and make good decisions both in teams and independently. From design to implementation, front office, back office, you feel at home everywhere. And you are no stranger to scrum.
Why we think you're cool
All our booq applications are based on web technology. In the browser, on mobile devices or packaged in a desktop application. As a front-end engineer, you translate UX/UI designs into code like no other, because you want to keep improving our client's user experience. Preferably you have a relevant HBO or WO education and in-depth knowledge of Javascript, Angular, Typescript, RxJS, CSS, Sass and HTML. Furthermore, you are up-to-date with new (mobile) web technologies, such as PWA.
Your demonstrable knowledge of multi-device front-end development often comes in handy, as does that around high-performance and scalable environments. Furthermore, your experience with agile working is a big plus. Due to the international nature of the team, you will communicate entirely in English. This is not a problem for you at all.
