Cloud Architect
What you will do
As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing the cloud infrastructure and solutions for the software platform according to Infrastructure as Code principles. You will play a crucial role in defining the cloud strategy, focusing on scalability, automation and security in our cloud environment and ensuring optimal operation of the cloud infrastructure. You will work with your team to ensure optimal and efficient operation of the cloud infrastructure, addressing any performance and availability issues immediately and taking ownership of projects to deliver value to the market on time. Furthermore, you will contribute to the international expansion of our solutions and optimise a high-capacity data-intensive environment. The international rollout that is planned is an additional challenge for you that you will enjoy being part of.

Not only do you have in-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, infrastructure and networking, but you are also familiar with DevOps practices. In addition, you have experience implementing automated cloud infrastructure and deployments. Your HBO/WO working and thinking level enables you to make strategic and tactical decisions. Together with the other Architects, you form a team and constructively build solutions. Above all, you know what not to do as a Cloud Architect, which means you are pragmatic. Due to the international nature of the team, you will communicate entirely in English. This is not a problem for you at all.
